Zorg en Jeugd Caribisch Nederland (ZJCN) is actively looking for people with a big heart to support children with a small social network of their own with practical, logistical and temporary and long-term care needs.
Zorg en Jeugd Caribisch Nederland will be active in different neighborhoods in Bonaire as well as in different supermarkets to provide information to be able to apply to become foster parents. The whole month of September will be dedicated to this part so that the whole of Bonaire can know about the needs that there are and to contribute to becoming a foster mother for children in need in Bonaire.
There are different ways to contribute to this system, some individuals can give a hand on weekends, but some families can give a hand on weekdays as well. Some may be given every weekend or every other weekend, this is the way to reach concrete agreements so that the children can find an adoptive parent who can help them and the children who are in Zorg en Jeugd Caribisch Nederland.
It may also be possible to adopt children in the long term and possibly become a foster child in the future. In the end, the children in Zorg en Jeugd Caribisch Nederland are children who are temporarily in the care home until the parents’ situation can be corrected and the child can return home.
