Walk for the Venezuelan Democracy

Caminata Pa

On October 1st there will be a walk around 5 o’clock that will start from the Plaza Bolivar and ending in front of the “I love Aruba” sign. This walk has a great goal closed to the hearts of Venezuelans living here in Aruba and there in Venezuela.

The purpose of this walk is to rescue the democracy of Venezuela and different aspects that are going wrong for them in their country. They want this walk to highlight the need for a change in the areas of education, food, health and everything they want back as before.

They appeal to everyone who wants to participate to come register effective Saturday from 10 o’clock in the morning to around 5 o’clock in the afternoon at Coco Plus and Berloni where they will be there to help. The registration has a cost of 10 guilders and there is the possibility of getting a t-shirt for 5 guilders.

They are taking this walk not only to rescue their democracy but also to support the candidate María Corina Machado who is running for a better Venezuela and with a vision that they also stand for. The future of their country is what they will march on their walk for and they hope to see each one of us on October 1, 2023 at 5 o’clock leaving from Bolivar Square.

They also remind each Venezuelan who already registered for the upcoming elections that will be held on October 22 at Playa Pabou Center between 8 o’clock in the morning and 6 o’clock in the afternoon.
