The first project of the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games was inaugurated today in the Chilean capital. The Villa Panamericana is located in the Cerrillos community and has 17 floors, 1,355 apartments, a large green area, games and all the entertainment that athletes need to stay in a comfortable and well-rested shape during their stay at the Pan American Games.
President of Chile, Gabriel Boric Font, Ministers, Santiago 2023 Executive Director Harold Mayne Nicholls, Team Chile athletes and the Cerrillos community participated in the opening ceremony.
After the tour to see the apartments and the Villa area, President Boric visited the main area where the traditional seating ceremony was held.
The Pan American Games will be held from October 21 to November 5 in Santiago, Chile. Moreover, our delegation from Aruba will also be present to compete in these games. Aruba will compete in 11 sports disciplines with 15 athletes.
