From the beginning Miguel Mansur came out hard pro RAft. He said this in the press, public meetings and interviews in the press. Mansur said that the raft as it is, is excellent for Aruba and it is an agreement that Aruba has to be able to live with. According to Mansur there is no disadvantage in the Kingdom Law for Financial Supervision and it benefits Aruba, because it safes 30 million interest per year. But is Mansur transparent and sincere in these statements? Did he ever doubt in the law? Is not there anything that may harm Aruba?
Point number 1 of Mansur’s view:
Unrealistic standards is being demanded for the Aruba’s budget. On May 20, 2022, on pages 16 to 17 in the “, Proposal Report of the Kingdom Law containing the rules for the Financial Supervision on Aruba”Miguel Mansur (action 21) expressed in questions for the Netherlands that he disagrees with different points of the law, and if these are not answered or considered, then the law in its original form is not favorable, but it is unrealistic for our country. (pages 16-17-report by The Dutch House of Representatives May 2022.
Why is it unrealistic according to Mansur? It is elaborated in this way on page 16 of the report; “Considering the fact that the Law emphasizes on the urgency of lowering our debt/GDP ratio up to 50% by 2040, which would make this more sustainable, and that additionally the law it demands a 1% surplus over all budgets, while our current debt/GDP-ratio is approximately 115%, I conclude that these standards/requirements are probably impossible to realize without a refinancing of our national debt, by the Netherlands at a more preferential rate/percentage. (P.17) Mansur continues to elaborate that our national debt is about 5.8 billion guilders and wonders if the Netherlands is willing to refinance it and in which way this would happen.
Point number 3 of the Mansur’s view:
Mansur wonders if it would be possible to investigate whether PPP-projects could be re-financed by the Netherlands. While Mansur shouts that he is pro the Kingdom Law for Financial Supervision, in the press politically his strong doubts and unease are expressed in his “view” of the report. We can clearly see Mansur two-faces on this issue. At point number 3 Mansur states the following; Mrs. The Secretary of State is willing to support Aruba, by investigating whether PPP projects can be purchased or refinanced by the Netherlands?If in fact Mansur is so convinced that the Law is tremendous, why he himself expresses in points 1 and 3 that it is practically impossible to comply with all rules if all the debt is not refinanced, and do you ask the Netherlands to also help to refinance the PPP projects?
Mansur Two-Faces
Here we can clearly see the two faces of Mr.Mansur. Two faces of insincerity and with the political thirst to come to power even if it means to financially and economically destroy our country. Mansur had already realized that it would be practically impossible for the government to comply with all the rules and requirements of the Supervision Law. He mentions the alarming problems, but he still continues to play politics with the law. Meaning, Mansur watching the events is choosing for a destructive raft for our country, he deceives the people that the law is beneficial for Aruba and covers up his concerns by hiding the “report” of May 20 2022, because he doesn’t want the people to read it or know about it. Why? Because the report proves that Mansur contradicts himself! This is the destructive politics that Mansur is carrying out!
Mansur, a Two-Faces and destructive leader
Miguel Mansur here is known for his thought and words of destruction. According to Miguel Mansur, it is necessary to remove 1500 people from the government apparatus, remove overtime possibility from the police force, deport those who disagree with his same-sex marriage law and who the churches must shut their mouths and have their own parties if they want to have something to say. Today, Miguel shouts that the Kingdom Law for Financial Supervision is good for Aruba, however his “view” in the report says something completely different! Paper cuts!
