“Student Award Ceremony” that was held at the University of Aruba (UA). During this ceremony, the UA awarded recognitions to different students who in one way or another knew about dating during the academic year.
The “Student Thesis Award” was awarded to the student with the best thesis. This is a tradition of more than 20 years, to recognize the effort and dedication that the student puts into his study. The “Student Ambassador award” was also awarded to those students who during their academic year demonstrated their effort, their ability to help and be a leader, and for their collaboration. The prime minister indicated, that during this ceremony, they had the opportunity to hear several of the theses, as well as how the students get involved in their studies, but also in their lives as students.
It was an extremely beautiful and inspiring evening, in which the parents present could also have fun, with great pride at seeing their son’s commitment to go forward, and the positive result of his sacrifice. I congratulate all the students who were recognized on this special night, this is one of the many achievements that there are still to come. I also thank the University of Aruba, all the teachers and parents for their effort and dedication to the education of our children.
