The 17th edition of “Lens di mi wowo “ is a success once again

On Press Day, Minister Xiomara Maduro of Culture attended the 17th edition of the exhibition of mr. Leo Vrolijk’s “Lens di mi wowo” ‘The Lens of My Eye’ is located at the National Library of Aruba.

‘The Lens of My Eye’ is a photographic exhibition of various members of the press and photographers who are passionate about the art of photography, who choose to exhibit some portraits to tell the story of the people of our country.

During this evening Mr. Leo Vrolijk recognized four member of the Press, Mr. Albino Tromp, working for almost 50 years at Telearuba, Sr. Richard Lacle of the AWE24 media, Sr. Hilario Doncker who recently retired and Mr. Cornel Djaoen cu has 26 years working in the television world. Telearuba also received a special recognition in connection with its 60th anniversary.

Minister Maduro thanked Mr. Leo Vrolijk has been dedicated for 19 years to bringing photographers together so they can share with the local people what their lenses see. The invitation is extended to visit the National Library of Aruba and admire this beautiful exhibition.
