Teach Me Step by Step Foundation Aruba was officially lifted on April 4, 2009 and our goal is to provide comprehensive guidance and guidance from different disciplines to benefit children, youth and adults with disabilities and their families. In the academic year 2022-2023 our volunteer professional team created the first edition of the book The flower of Values “a treasure for my life”. 

This book is a continuation of the motto of our foundation which is the flower of values, Justice-Perseverance-Honesty -forgiveness-Humility-Punctuality-Sincerity-Responsibility-Loyalty- Love-truth and respect, each value is a chapter of the book. In this book we want to promote reading and activities for the family to perform some exercises that will help children and young people in their personal development and to be able to contribute to the community in a positive and productive way in the future. 

The book has 156 pages that have some interactive exercises focused on values. It will reinforce emotional social skills, psychomotor skills, Speech and language. Exercise to improve attention, concentration, expression, comprehension, reading, writing, knowing emotions, technique to regulate emotions, alphabets, numbers, identifying the body, importance of the family, notion of time, children’s rights and much more.

it will have some companies/organizations that will adopt a value. The book will be sold for a symbolic sum to raise funds for the continuation of our comprehensive after-school project that provides professional guides from psychologists, speech therapists and therapists to a vulnerable group of children and young people with mild intellectual disability (L.V.B) and their families. 

The books will be distributed for children from 6 to 15 years old in some schools, neighborhood centers. During the distribution of the book our professional volunteer team will give some informative and educational workshops. 

We wanted to thank the Samenwerkende Fondsen Caribbean and give in to Aruba, F.S.P.P.ª board and volunteer professional team who made this book a reality

The book of Values “a treasure for my life” is part of the integral after school project for children and young people with mild intellectual disabilities (L.V.B), and the first edition is financed by working together funds and Caribbean and CEDE Aruba.
