TCB lanceert het "Bonaire Expert Programma" E-learning cursus voor partners in de reisbranche
Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) lanceert haar eerste module
van het Bonaire Expert Programma. Het programma biedt reisagenten de mogelijkheid om
meer te leren over onze bestemming, onze samenleving en ons aanbod. De visie van TCB is om
onze partners te informeren en te inspireren over onze bestemming. Het is belangrijk om de
geschiedenis en het unieke karakter van de bestemming te begrijpen. De eerste module van de
nieuwe e-cursus op het ‘E travel training platform’ richt zich op de Nederlandse
reisprofessionals. Deze interactieve e-cursus richt zich op de unieke ervaringen van het eiland
en biedt reisagenten in Nederland de mogelijkheid om hun "Bonaire Expert" kennis te testen en
te leren over het eiland, om zo een echte gecertificeerde Bonaire expert te worden.
Na het succesvol afronden van de e-cursus, ontvangen de deelnemers een certificaat dat hun
status als Bonaire expert bekrachtigt. Het doel van TCB is om de product- en
bestemmingskennis van Nederlandse reisprofessionals te vergroten, om zo onze toekomstige
bezoekers beter te kunnen voorlichten en inspireren. De E-learning training is beschikbaar voor
alle reisagenten over de hele wereld met de eerste module in het Nederlands die als pilot
programma is gelanceerd. TCB zal in het komende kwartaal investeren om het Bonaire Expert
Programma in alle andere markten en in vier verschillende talen te lanceren.
TCB zal ook het Bonaire Expert Programma in de toekomst uitbreiden met meer modules over
de geschiedenis van ons eiland en ons cultureel erfgoed om onze partners in het buitenland
beter te kunnen informeren. TCB erkent de belangrijke rol die de reisbranche heeft in de
ontwikkeling van onze toeristische industrie en wil daarom de "Bonaire Experience" verbeteren
door de introductie van het Bonaire Expert Programma.

TCB launches the “Bonaire Expert Program” E-learnings Course for Travel Trade partners
Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) launches its first module of the Bonaire Expert Program. The program allows for travel agents to learn more about our destination, community and offerings. TCB’s vision is to educate and inspire our partners about our destination. It is important to understand the history and uniqueness of the destination.
The first module of the new e-course on the E travel training platform targets the Dutch travel
trade professionals. This interactive e-course focuses on the unique experiences of the island
and offers an opportunity for travel agents in the Netherlands to test their “Bonaire Expert”
knowledge and learn about the island, to become a real certified Bonaire expert.
Once successfully completed, participants of the e-course will receive a certificate validating
their status as a Bonaire expert. TCB’s goal is to enhance the product and destination
knowledge of Dutch travel trade professionals, in order to better educate and inspire our future
visitors. The E-learning training is available for all travel agents around the world with the first
module in Dutch that was launched as the pilot program. TCB will invest in the next quarter to
launch the Bonaire Expert program in all other markets and in four different languages.
TCB will also expand the Bonaire Expert program in the future with more island history modules
and cultural heritage modules to better educate our partners abroad. TCB acknowledges the
important role that the travel trade has in the development of our Tourism Industry and
therefore wishes to enhance the “Bonaire Experience” by introducing the Bonaire Expert
Program.
