In July 2024, Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB)
recognized three visitors from the United States as Bonaire Ambassadors. The visitors
were Tamara Thiede, who has been visiting Bonaire for 10 years, and also Dennis Metcalf
and Shea Kim, who have been visiting our island for the past 15 consecutive years.
Tamara Thiede was recognized in the bronze category, while Shea Kim and Dennis
Metcalf were honored in the silver category.
Our ambassadors are happy that they can come to Bonaire every year, and some visitors
even come twice a year. For TCB, Helen Mercera was responsible for the recognition
ceremony, during which she presented the certificates and associated pins.
