Sports equipment for the Impact Basketball Club

Recently, Kiwanis Club of Aruba (KCA), the club that has been providing services to the community of Aruba since 1964, awarded a symbolic check to IMPACT Basketball Club. This symbolic check is to contribute with various sporting materials needed for the demand of the club’s growth.

IMPACT Basketball Club has several teams in the categories of U12 (8 to 12 years old), U14 (13 to 14 years old), U16 (15 to 17 years old) and 18+ (17 years old and up) and a girls’ team. The demand in the club is growing positively with more members wishing to practice the sport in the different categories. The demand created the need for more material for the athletes to practice their sport properly.

IMPACT Basketball Club is a well-known and respected basketball club, which has produced some of the best players in basketball during its years of existence. The club’s goal is to continue to develop young athletes who have a strong passion for basketball. They are constantly looking for new members to join them in innovative ways to improve the program and services. They provide the highest quality basketball training and coaching available on the island and making an Impact.

The Kiwanis Club of Aruba (KCA) aims to serve the children of our community. KCA believes that sport is an important and essential part of the education of our children and youth. For this reason, KCA contributes to the IMPACT Basketball Club so that they can continue to provide the best quality material to their members. KCA’s Immediate Past President, Ingmar Ramharakh along with Donation Chair Committee, Vikash Karnani made the awarding of a symbolic check to representatives of IMPACT Basketball Club, Jenneve James-Russel and Ivan Poulina who were extremely happy to receive the contribution for their club.
