Short course in creative writing

The National Library of Aruba offers a short course in creative writing starting in May. The course teacher is a local author, sir. The Life of Frank Jr. It’s the principle level. The course runs once a week for eight weeks. This course takes place in the library at Playa and is for adults as well as Young Adults. Instruction is in speech.

This course will be held on Mondays from 5:00 to 7:00, on the following days: May 29, June 5, 12, 19, and 26, as well as July 3, 10, and 17, 2023. You can register via email: curso@bna.aw or call library # 528 1504. The course costs 135 florins per person. Registration closes on Friday 12 May and places are limited.

This is interesting for anyone who likes to write fiction and wants to experiment, get inspiration and feedback. Participants write in the language of their choice and can do so in any genre of their choice. Participants are given homework to work on over the weekend and practice.

Sir, Vivienno Frank Jr. has published two books and is currently working on a third. Damnatio ad bestias (2020) and Outpost Alto Vista and other cosmic horrors from Aruba (2020). Both members’ books can be purchased at the library and are available at the local library.
