Recently, the Minister of Tourism and Public Health, Dangui Oduber, along with a delegation consisting of the Aruba Ports Authority (APA) N.V. and Aruba Tourism Authority, traveled to Miami for a meeting with representatives of the Royal Caribbean Cruises. The executives of Royal Caribbean Cruises informed the Aruban delegation that by 2023, they will bring 300,000 tourists to Aruba and expect to bring 340,000 tourists to Aruba in 2024. This growth highlights the growing demand for and confidence in Aruba as a cruise destination.
The cruise season is set to start by October 2023, making it a remarkable busy period in Aruba’s capital city of Oranjestad. The season will start with 12 cruise ships that will visit the port of Aruba this October.
