Minister Ursell Arends was also present at the Kibrahacha Center during the Summer Camp. The Minister is very pleased that more than 20 older adults participated in the Kibrahacha Centre summer camp.
Similarly, the elderly keep active, both spiritually and physically. Minister Ursell Arends is pleased to receive the certificates which commend the work of the Kibrahacha centre, which ensures that our elderly people remain active during the holiday period.
Minister Ursell Arends encourages more and more older people to take part in these health promotion activities. Such activities often combat loneliness. Older people don’t need to be alone in their homes, they have a center where they can share with each other and do various fun activities for themselves. It’s also a place where other adults of their age can meet and share.
Minister Ursell Arends and the Ministry of the Elderly are supporting these types of projects to strengthen the process of kibrahacha center. Minister Ursell Arends is aware of the growing need for this type of foundation where mobility is a cardinal point that older adults cannot come to the centre to participate in activities specifically offered to be active in the community.
According to Minister Ursell Arends, this issue will soon be the subject of a national debate to find a solution.
