Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, together with Parliament President Edgar Vrolijk, visited EPI College in connection with the innovation project that EPI delivered and won with it, as far as Edutech’s competition is concerned.
The Prime Minister indicated that he was extremely happy and proud to see the creativity that our students stand out when they come up with an innovation project for their school. EPI presented a different and very interesting concept.
Compared to other schools, EPI’s project was more focused on teachers, with the goal of later reaching out to students through teachers and preparing them for 21st century skills. More than just applied to the project, it focused on how to prepare people to be successful in the future.
During the visit, the Prime Minister and students played a quartet game while talking about the skills needed for both studentsi and teachers to be successful in the 21st century. Edutech continues in 2024
Regarding the future of Edutech and seeing the interest of the schools to be part of this project, the Government made the decision to continue one more year. Also, ask all schools to start to design their innovation projects early, as competition will be strong. The Prime Minister congratulates EPI for winning with their project presented, and thanks Futura for contributing to this.
