The Harley Club held an informational evening for all club presidents. Oscar Britten spoke and presented the program to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Harley-Davidson.
In Aruba there are many Harley clubs and they have organized a ride called Blue Moon that will take place on September 2. The ride was named Blue Moon because this year the world will see 13 full moons and the one at the end of August and beginning of September was called Blue Moon.
The Ride will depart from South Beach and end Barcadera 2A, where there will be a celebration featuring bands, DJs, various awards and games. This event is to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Harley Davidson, the event also has no cost attached to it, all harleys are welcome.
In order for the Blue Moon Ride not to be registered, Pesey himself called meetings with the presidents of every Harley club in Aruba to bring the idea forward. There will be an open bar and all Harley independent club members will receive a bench and the bench will be served free drinks and food.
However, those who wish to celebrate with their Harley club may do so as well, but they will not receive anything for free like the members. There will also be nine couples from Colombian Harley clubs who will celebrate in Aruba with a total of 30 people. A.T.A. has also been approached to cooperate and will give the Colombian club a present from Aruba upon their arrival at the airport. Taxi drivers from the harley clubs also cooperated and made themselves available to pick up the Colombian members and welcome them to Aruba.
