Presented by the educator, historian and author Mr. Chando Pietersz is a French singer. As part of the series of programs to inform the community about the history of slavery in our country, the Ministry of Culture presents another informative program “Importance of being aware of Aruba’s past of slavery”.

In this program, Mr. Chando Pietersz, lecturer, historian and author of several books elaborates on it It is important for our community to be aware, to know and to accept the past of slavery in our country.

Chando provides an explanation of the aspects of slavery and servitude, what that means for Aruba and its people.

Minister Xiomara Maduro extends an invitation to the entire community to tune in to the program The importance of being aware of Aruba’s past of slavery to listen to deacons is important to us.
