Arrest for driving under the influence
In the afternoon hours of Monday, August 26, a 49-year-old man with the initials J.L.D.L.C.G. was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was involved in a two-car collision on the Kaya Libertador Simon Bolivar. Following a breath test taken, the suspect was taken into custody. On closer inspection, it turned out he didn’t have any valid insurance either. He got a ticket for this and was taken to the police station for a breathalyzer.
In the past few days, fines have been issued for various traffic violations
There are three fines for driving without a licence, two for driving without insurance, two for driving without a helmet, one for driving without a seatbelt, one for using a telephone while driving, one for driving without a licence and without valid insurance, two for driving without a helmet, licence and valid insurance, and one for driving without a helmet and without valid insurance.
