From La Granja Savaneta Peruvian immigrants living in Aruba celebrated the 202nd anniversary of the independence of Peru. The idea of today was to walk around Aruba with flags and illustrate the Peruvian culture in Aruba. In this way the Peruvians in Aruba celebrated their independence day.
The Peruvian group that organized this event feels proud and happy to have received such collaboration this year from several people of different nationalities living in Aruba and from the Arubians themselves. According to Nelly Ostos they are happy that they could have the opportunity to have received the permission to run around Aruba in a caravan with the flag of Peru and thus celebrate the 202 years of independence.
Also Fredy Yucra is one of the engines behind this event the group of Peruvians left La granja savaneta followed by Balashi, St Cruz, Tankileendert, Tankiflip, Noord, Frans Figaroa, Palm Beach, Paseo Herencia, next to hotels, take Blvd, Bushiri, seroe blanco and finally finish at Postkantoor beach. This is not the first time they have done a caravan but for 10 consecutive years they have already celebrated their independence day with a caravan. Along the way they have some stops and at the time of their stops they will play different games and at which there will be different prizes. In this way the Peruvian community celebrates and commemorates their independence day.
