The activity was organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport/Culture and Sport Sector (ESKD) in cooperation with the Tula Museum Foundation (FMT). Upon arrival, each visitor found a banner with messages of one of the three principles of Tula and had the musical animation of Mr. Anthony Hooi. The informal program was guided by the master of ceremonies Mrs. Sigviana Francisca.
The activity began where greeting ceremonies were held to our avocados guided by Mr. Richinel Ansano and Mrs. Rose Marie Sling. Then the informal program was continued, where the young Nedeon Sluis sang hymns followed by speeches by the president of FMT Mr. Shurby Alberto. At the same time, the FMT delivered reports on the history of Curacao to Mrs. Nathania Engelhart, Mrs. Ilka Willems and the Minister Mr. Sithree van Heydoorn.
The Chief Minister of Culture Mr. Sithree van Heydoorn made her speech and declared the open culture week informally. The djengel of the culture week was presented by Dibo Di and Adjatai. Then we proceeded to the opening of creative marches, where entrepreneurs and volunteers presented their creative products. The unveiling of the monument was also made: ‘We want nothing more but our freedom.’
Then followed presentations entitled: “Immortal Rebel Tula”, by the speaker of the order Mrs. Susanne Camelia-Römer, followed by the reflection of Professor Mrs. Rose Marie allen, Mr. Max Elstak, Mrs. Jeanira Marshal and Mr. Christoffer Rosinda. Also throughout the day there were several activities such as lens dizziness, Leadership, story teller in gardens, dances, African Fashion Show and walks in the kenepa area. Creadances organizations, sweets Curacao, Orgel Box the Spring of Rudsel Aniseto and Baba Awokosé Group trained the audience with dance and music during the informal ceremony and during the winter the day.
