After receiving no reaction from the Public Ministry, Otmar Oduber decided to hand the case to the Commissioner.
He once again asked for clarity on what will happen with the Flamingo case, the dossier that OM has against him. The information available to him shows that the case has been closed since January and it is not known what OM is waiting for to decide whether to dismiss the case or move forward.
The prosecutor handling the case now is a new one as the other’s contract has expired and he has been transferred to the Netherlands.
The judge, according to Oduber, asked several questions and promised to give a quick answer as to what his decision is. The defendant wishes to answer or order the OM to give them an answer as to what will happen now that the case is closed.
