Nina Zander political advisor and spokesperson for DCNA for the six Dutch Caribbean islands

Nina Zander Dcna

We are happy to announce that 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗭𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 recently joined our team as policy advisor. An important task of the DCNA is to be a joint voice for the six Dutch Caribbean islands, both in the region as well as in The European Netherlands. Safeguarding nature and serving our network partners means that we want to increase our influence, to contribute to policy and law making and to lobby with Ministries and politicians. As an alliance we aim to create awareness and get important matters on the agendas.

Nina is not a stranger to us. She was working with DCNA as a project manager, so she is very familiar with our organization and the region. She has an academic background in Psychology and International Developments and worked as a policy officer at the Dutch Ministry of Finance.

Nina loves to analyze and understand complex matters and translate them into clear insights. Her passion for nature, her fresh drive and pragmatic no nonsense mentality will strengthen our lobby and policy work.

She is already on the job. If you have any policy related questions, we encourage you to get in touch with her.
