Minister Croes pointed out, as Libertador Betico Croes once said, that if there is a 1% chance to open a refinery, we should fight for it.

Aruba Hydrogen Valley is a water refinery for the future, a new vision that guarantees that the refinery will never be closed again. We may have seen traditional refineries come, refineries go, but now comes a whole new refinery, new concept and new vision. A hydrogen refinery that produces hydrogen and all hydrochemical plants that operate on hydrogen.

For Aruba it is a new beginning for the combination of solar energy, with the wind farm, together with Eagle LNG, Acciona Energia and other upcoming developments, will create jobs for many workers. It will create jobs for contractors and merchants, it will create economic benefits for San Nicolas and Aruba as a whole and put Aruba on the international map. Aruba will become a country that takes its quality of life and environment seriously and the quality of future generations seriously. Aruba is on the path to decarbonization, fulfilling the Paris Agreement, but also creating economic prosperity for its people, for our children and for our country. This is a historic and incredible day that for the future will continue to talk about this day, when the companies of

The government of Aruba and the people signed a MOU with the multinational Acciona Energia.

Minister Croes went on to say that we will soon see big, modern, new movements in San Nicolas. Soon we will see our Earth children back working in Aruba Hydrogen Valley. Minister Croes thanked the leadership of all government companies Utilities, WEB, ELMAR and RDA. He also thanked Acciona Energia for the trust and investment in Aruba and the development of the refinery.

A great welcome to the country of Aruba and will be determined that soon the people of Aruba will see development and construction take place.

A new era begins today for Aruba.
