As of November 1, 2023, Fr. Mildred Schwengle, at her own request, is stepping down as the representative of Raad van State (RvS) for Aruba. Close. Schwengle served for exactly six years as a member of the department of the Royal Navy. First, you have to fight. Schwengle assumed this responsibility, dr. Mito Croes held the position of RvS representative for Aruba until June 2016.
Procedure
Who will take over after the war? Mildred Schwengle is still unknown. The Minister of Internal Affairs and Relations of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will consult this with the Prime Minister of Aruba Evelyn Wever – Croes and with the Vice President of the RvS. The Council of Ministers of the Kingdom will decide to present the candidate to King Willem-Alexander, for the appointment as representative of RvS.
Kingdom Ministry
The Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment meets once a month, on Wednesdays, and gives advice on broadly the same topics as the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. The Royal Reserves deals with topics of interest not only to the Netherlands, but to the whole of the Kingdom, including Royal Laws and Royal Treaties.
The advisory department of the Kingdom’s RvS consists of members of the advisory department, plus three other members from the other countries in the Kingdom.
Curriculum vitae by Mildred Schwengle
Mildred (Milly) Schwengle studied law at the former Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen. Between 1990 and 1994 he served as Plaatsvervangende officier van justitie and then as a clerk at the Court of First Instance. In 1994 she became a lawyer and worked as a lawyer in Aruba and Corsou and was a partner in the HBN law firm, until her appointment as a member representing Aruba in the RvS.
