The former transport minister has been a fugitive for more than a year. The judiciary informed, through its social networks, that the international search, location and capture warrant against former minister Juan Silva Villegas has been updated and is valid until 2027.

The Supreme Investigative Court indicates that Interpol has in force until June 2027 a black notice of search, location and capture at the international level of former minister Juan Francisco Silva Villegas, investigated for collusion and criminal organization, PJ informed on Twitter.
As it is known, former Minister of Transport and Communications Juan Silva has been a fugitive from justice for more than 1 year and 3 months and has a national detention order issued on June 4 by Supreme Court Justice Juan Carlos Checkley.
In addition, the National Police has put a reward of 50 thousand soles for information that contributes to his capture.
According to local media, the former head of the MTC fled to Venezuela. However, Silva’s lawyer, Alfredo Yalan, insists that his sponsor remains in Peru.
