Recently, Minister of Education and Sports Endy Croes was present at Palo Marga International Raceway Park, where the One Cool Summer Nationals 2023 were taking place.
There was a large audience present who enjoyed each show on the Palo Marga track. During this event, the organizers recognized three pillars who have worked very hard for the sport of drag racing in Aruba, namely Mr. Manuel da Silva, Mrs. Miriam Wouters and Mrs. Kedy Koolman. Minister Endy Croes had the honor of delivering the recognition to the bastions of the sport of drag racing. Also present on this occasion was the fortress of Mr. Andre Wernet and the legendary Mr. Henny Leo who spoke during the ceremony. This year Palo Marga International Raceway Park turned 40 years old. Minister Endy Croes indicated that 26 light posts have been repaired in Palo Marga and committed to complete the runway by 2024 to meet international standards. In closing, Minister Endy Croes wished all the runners success. He also congratulated the organizers and One Cool Summer Nationals 2023 on a tremendous and successful event.
