Hungateca: Play and Borrow under one roof

Hungateca

Mr. Shurman Miliard boardmember from Hungateca talked about his activities and their new headquarter which is the National Library of Aruba. He also explained more about their activity that took place last September 23rd in the NLA and what all they presented.

Hungateca is a new foundation that started 2 years ago giving Aruba the opportunity to be able to play with parents and children and also borrow the toys to play with them and bring them back just like you do with a book at a library. Hungateca has been located for some time in the NLA and is open 3 times a week which are Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, all these days they are open for their services and various activities. Hungateca had a puppet show last weekend, where they did different activities with dulls and encouraged the Aruban people to come and share personal development with toys and create connections with children through playing.

Hungateca foundation accepts any donation of toys, and also distribute them with other foundations or Imeldahof or Casa Cuna who may be also need these toys. If you want to give your toys to Hungateca your can pass on the days they are open and deliver these.

Finally they reflect on their connection and collaboration that goes well between them and the National Library of Aruba.
