During the weekends, the Expo Salud 2023 was held where different professionals from the world of health came together to give the Aruban community information about several interesting and essential topics for health care. Of course, the Horacio Oduber Hospital (HOH) team was also there to be part of the tremendous organization of the expo salud 2023.
As one of the largest and most important stakeholders in the health care area in Aruba, Mr. Gregory Croeze, member of the HOH Board of Directors, expressed that “the Hospital is always there for the community and therefore today it is here to give information to everyone who visits the expo salud. The HOH operating theater team was present to explain to the visitors what is important for them to know at the time when they have to go for surgery. Also present were the Bloedbank team to recruit more donors and the LABHOH team who provided information on all types of tests that are done.”Mr. Croeze expressed to be very happy with such activities because it is a way to bring all stakeholders together for a single goal.
Croeze expressed words of gratitude to the entire team that de HOH that gave information to the expo salud. “And he wants to remind everyone that we are always there to give information and educate patients and the community about what everyone can expect at HOH but also the services that are offered,” Croeze finished. Zoyenka Figaroa, Analyst at LABHOH, explained that “LABHOH informed all the visitors about the tests that are done in the laboratory, but especially the pathology part.
