Healthy masculinity in primary schools with the project “I Stopped It!”

HIAS Aruba and Phone Foundation for Youth Aruba are proud announce that they have joined forces to reduce the risk of violence against women and men and to
promotes healthy masculinity (a set of attitudes and behaviors adopted by a person, which is promoting the common good both individually and for the community) in primary schools in Aruba.

This collaboration builds on the extensive experience of the Phone for Youth Aruba Foundation in implement similar projects in primary schools on our island, such as the Prevention of Terminus at Scol?? (Stop terminus).

Thanks to a grant proposed by the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (BPRM), the two These organizations developed a pilot project called “I Stopped It”. The project is addressing the issue of violence, the treatment of boys and girls, equality, and promoting positive masculinity in eight primary schools in eight districts on our island.
