If you have not yet seen a Roseate Spoonbill “Chucharon Cora “, they do exist and have visited Aruba after the heavy rain. Aruba was pleasantly surprised to see a magnificent Roseate Spoonbill on the protected areas of the Wetlands.
According to the Aruba National Park Foundation, the roseate spoonbill or locally known as the “Chucharon Cora “, has been spotted foraging in shallow water to capture small fish, crustaceans and other aquatic invertebrates. According to the National Park foundation Aruba, the migration route of the fish passes through Aruba.
After heavy rain comes sunshine, but while waiting for the first rays of sunshine to come out again, Aruba has the pleasure of observing the magnificent Roseate Spoonbill spending their day in the protected area of Saliña. The Roseate Spoonbill looking for food in the shallow muddy waters that include small fish, crabs and small goats, shrimp and other aquatic animals as they make their migration route through Aruba. A distinctly different animal that looks like a flamingo model, but it is not a flamingo. Aruba is blessed to be able to admire the animals that pass as migrants and then let them follow their owne path.
