Sessions of Culture, Art and Literature (SKAL) and the Full Moon Commission continue their activities according to their cultural calendar. On Thursday, August 31, 2023, the Full Moon Night event will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bonaire Windsurf Place near Elvis Presley and Martinus. The theme of the evening is “Thanksgiving to the Lady”. A night of poetry under the full moon. The Full Moon Night is a social event of the people and for the people, so one and all are cordially welcome.
People in Rincon needing transportation can use a bus that leaves the front of the church in Rincon at 18:00 and then also passes through SKAL at 18:30 to pick up people in Playa who need transportation. All those wishing to use the transportation service are requested to make reservations in advance at SKAL or call +599 715 5323. In this way we can have better communication with each other.
As always, each guest is free to bring something sweet to share with other guests and a prayer for everyone to come to their own table. Don’t underestimate your abilities and show them off. We appreciate and respect all work, with the exception of profanity, politics, personal problems and anything that does not fit the purpose of the event.
Full Moon Nights is an initiative that was born in the past from some cities with a great passion for our spoken language. SKAL emphasizes that the main goal of the event is to stimulate others to write, declare, tell stories, sing or present short works in speech.
