Foundation Against Relational Violence welcomes Cinthia Quant as its new director

Cinthia Quant

The Foundation Against Relational Violence is pleased to introduce Cinthia Quant as the new program director as our new Program Manager, who officially joined our team on March 1, 2024. Cinthia brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to supporting survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) in Aruba.

Cinthia is a licensed psychologist with over five years of dedicated service in the field of GBV. She began her journey at “Fundacion pa Hende Muhe den Dificultad” (now Fundacion Contra Violencia Relacional), where she provided essential psychotherapy services to survivors of GBV.

Her passion for advocacy and prevention led her to HIAS Aruba, where she served as the Gender-Based Violence Coordinator. In this role, Cinthia spearheaded activities focused on prevention, response, and risk mitigation of GBV. She also played a pivotal role in advocating for improved GBV response protocols on the island, providing invaluable training and workshops to organizations across Aruba and neighboring islands.

Cinthia’s dedication to supporting survivors and promoting gender equality is truly commendable. Her decision to join FCVR as our Program Manager reflects her ongoing commitment to strengthening survivor services and raising awareness of gender-based violence on the island. We are confident that her expertise and passion will drive meaningful change within our organization and the community at large.

Cinthia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and is on the verge of completing her Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Intervention in gender-based violence from Universidad Internacional de Valencia, Spain.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Cinthia as she embarks on this new chapter with us. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly make in advancing our mission.
