The 200 future commercial houses in Rotterdam’s harbor quarter were officially handed over by the construction company Heijmans. Together with employees, suppliers involved and accesses, the municipality of Rotterdam and residents of the dock building, celebrated the handover of the dock. The harbor quarter is one of the latest developments on the Katendrecht in Rotterdam.

In the design of the ‘Hafkwartier’ much was made of the contact between the inhabitants. For example, spaces were created that provide opportunities for casual encounters, such as the roof of the parking garage that was decorated as a communal interior garden. Also, there was a common roof court on the seventh floor between the two towers.
This habitat is an oasis of tranquility in a dynamic area. It’s very nice. Of course it’s also customary with all the ingenious energy mediators in our apartment.
