Yesterday in St Maarten a tragic incident took place at one of the local beaches in the Philipsburg area, leaving the community in deep sorrow.
The incident was reported to the police dispatch when a female visitor began experiencing difficulties breathing after coming out of the seawater. Realizing the urgency of the situation, the ambulance department quickly responded and rushed to the location. Upon arrival, the medical team immediately administered first aid in hopes of saving the woman’s life.
Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the medical responders were unable to revive her. It was ultimately determined by the medical examiner that she had passed away due to natural causes.
