Recently the Aruba Police Corps was visited for the first time by the Dutch High Commissioner of Police, Mr.Henk van Essen, who heads the Nationale Politie Nederland, along with his delegation consisting of the Amsterdam region police chief Mr. Frank Paauw visited Aruba for work

The visit is part of the good relations with the College of Police Chief in the region that will also be visited. Strengthening ties between the KPA and the NATIONAL POLICE NETHERLANDS. One of the reasons for the visit is to make joint statements so that in the future the two police organizations can work more closely together. Continue to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two police organizations but also help each other on different levels such as training, expertise and collaboration. He also elaborated that KPA is moving to modern technology to further develop the body. Transparency, better connection with the community, good teamwork, using social media as well as maintaining the security of the country Aruba was one of the important topics discussed between KPA and Nationale Politie Nederland.

Agents with a lot of passion and dedication: For the first time I am visiting Aruba and its Police Corps. Lovely people with respect from the moment I set foot in this country. Joyful yet willing agents, regardless of circumstances, do this work with great passion and dedication. But also this meeting was of added value where we worked out how we can build more fences together on different terrains. I have full confidence in this positive relationship between both organizations. These were the first words of Mr.Henk van Essen high commissioner of the National Police of the Netherlands, in the framework of his working visit to Aruba. His first visit was to meet with the high commissioner of the Aruba Police Corps, a police command but also a uniformed police. It was a moment when the delegation could exchange ideas with the staff and district head but also meet the uniformed police. The visit then proceeded to Tino Ruiz Square, where the two high commissioners paid their respects to the Q.E.P.D. bust.

KPA in progress: A very successful visit where we look back on a good dialogue between the two police organizations. They discussed how to enhance cooperation and work together in the future. I have full confidence in this development for KPA. Those were the words of Dr. Ramon Arnhem, the high commissioner of police.
