Recently, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) together with Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort and the Blue Bay golf course, participated at the most important golf fair in the Netherlands, which is the Holland Golf Show. The fair took place at Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, the Netherlands and was attended by approximately 4000 visitors. The aim of Curaçao’s participation at the fair was to offer professional and amateur golf players as well as golf fans information on Curaçao as a tourist destination, and also present to them the possibilities for accommodation and golfing at Blue Bay Curaçao.
The professional athlete from Curaçao, Churandy Martina, was also present in the Curaçao booth as the official celebrity endorser of Blue Bay Curaçao. All those who visited the Curaçao booth and made use of the opportunity to make their reservations right away, received a discount on their TUI flight ticket and on their hotel accommodation at Blue Bay Curaçao. They also received a free golf session on the Blue Bay Curaçao golf course and a package with promotional material from CTB. During the whole year Curaçao will continue to participate at several golf fairs in order to keep on promoting our destination as the ideal destination to also practice the sport of golf.
