In March 2023, Aruba received 109,295 tourist stayovers. This was a 102% recovery compared to March 2019.
For the first quarter of 2023, Aruba received 306,305 tourists which is 4.1% more than the first quarter of 2019.
The president noted that 2019 was the best year in the history of our tourism and therefore uses 2019 as the reference year when setting the recovery strategy.
The results of Aruba are impressive and this is certainly thanks to the good synergy and teamwork between the Ministry of Tourism and all the tourism partners.
Minister Dangui Oduber thanks the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), the Aruba Ports Authority (APA) N.V., the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association (AHATA), the Aruba Time Share Association (ATSA), the Aruba Airport Authority (AAA), and the Aruba Vacation Rentals Association. Thank you also to all the government departments and all those who work in the industry for this amazing result. We should be proud of this achievement! The delegate ends his speech.
