Awareness campaign and a digital platform called “Meet Your Passion” has been launched

Pap Campana Di Conscientisacion Y Un Plataforma Digital Cu Yamax

The Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association (AHATA) represents about 150 companies of different varieties in the hospitality and tourism sector. One point that is always heard from the members is that they are struggling with the shortage of workers in Aruba and globally there is also this trend. AHATA is always looking for solutions to help all members and to help the economy be more productive.

CEO of AHATA Tisa La Sorte has officially announced an awareness campaign and a digital platform called  “encontra bo mes”

The passion with this platform is to help people in our community who are looking for jobs in the sector. According to Teacher La Sorte AHATA wants to help people get to their jobs and help them through this process.

There is a website that will help different people with guidance to get to work. On the website you can find all the information where each person can find a guide, whether for an interview, how to dress appropriately for an interview and how to attend the whole process to apply for a job.

With these platforms, AHATA seeks to improve the current situation in Aruba where there is less gap between job seekers and employers looking for people to fill the job vacancies and thus move towards a more productive economy.

The website is called: mitatraha.com where you will find various videos and guides, but there is also a platform where people can fill in their professional personal information and the system itself creates a CV for them.

There are many employers who complain that there are many people who do not know how to fill out a proper CV, so the idea came to create a guide for those who need to fill in the information and automatically make the CV for them so they can submit it to the company they would like to work for. People who want to work now have managers who don’t make it difficult for them to get a job that they’re happy with.

AHATA works closely with various human resource executive directors to refine the platform and stay up to date. It also works with DPL and has shown DPL that the content of the platform is relevant to job seekers. In this way we try to come up with different solutions in our community so that people can find jobs.
