At the Paseo Herencia, an activity was held where a carnival-making competition was held and a new group was installed, the carnival group of the Klein Aruba Foundation, which also officially presented their group Aruba Tourist Carnaval Group, which is officially on the streets of Aruba with the musical time music group.
Jarisa Dubero is in charge of the newly introduced carnival group Aruba Tourist Group which is an idea that has been running for 12 years, and the desire is to see Aruba tourists participate with the other Aruba groups in the parade which is one of the largest celebrations of Aruba’s culture on the island.
He also instilled this in the students by having different people give the children workshops, how to make and wear headpieces where they showed the children how the process of making the costumes goes. This is very important because the children’s reactions are unique and they see the carnival in a different way.
This year will start small as it is the first of the group where the torch is expected to reach 750 people and large carnivals in the amount of 800 people are accompanied by musical time.
Located in Cherry Berry, the site can be visited on the website www.arubatouristcarnivalgroup.com, and the locals pay in florins.
