During a press conference this afternoon at Aruba Bank, the financial institution announced the dates of the largest walk and run event, sponsored by a bank, in our community. The 17th annual Aruba Bank Walk & Run 2023 is announced with a new concept, focusing on Be a Better You, jointly with partners Subway, and IBiSA. Aruba Bank Walk & Run is back on May 22, 23, 24, and 25.
The concept of “Be a Better You” focuses on each participant trying to improve themselves every day by setting their own goals and doing their best to achieve them. Participants prepare to participate and accumulate over twenty (20) kilometers during the four (4) days. Thinking about the well-being of everyone, this year Aruba Bank will donate five (5) florins from each registration in RESPALDO to support mental well-being in Aruba.

Registration for the Aruba Bank Walk & Run opens on 8 May at exactly 9am for the first 2500 participants. 2501 onwards on the waiting list (wachtlijst).
Participation is AWG 25 for all four (4) days. Each participant receives 1 dri-fit shirt, a BIB with chips and promotional items. We urge everyone to pay their dues immediately and ensure their participation. Aruba Bank customers can pay via Aruba Bank Online or Aruba Bank App. Other participants who do not have Aruba Bank Online, can use the Credit card payment facility during registration and can also pay at the IBISA office in Frankrijkstraat or San Nicolas, using your debit card. We do not accept cash.
Aruba Bank Walk & Run is a ′′plastic free′′ event, so we encourage all participants to bring their water bottles, and will have the option to refill them halfway through and at the Finals.
Remember to mark the dates for the big event on Monday, March 22, March 23, Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25 in the districts of San Nicolas, Hato, Paradera and Camacuri.
