Recently, the Bureau of Tourism, A.T.A. recognized three employees for their work in the year 2022, this through the 4th edition of the Standing Ovation Award. The three employees who received the most points from their colleagues were recognized.
Colleagues give each other High-Fives based on the various actions and values that A.T.A. stands for. This gives all employees the same opportunity to be recognized by their peers. In third place was Marouska Heyliger, Visitor Care Liaison. Marouska received several High-Fives and comments based on her willingness and enthusiasm to be part of different projects, as well as her role in setting up the Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao booths at cruise conferences.
Special recognition was given for the book project commissioned last year, which received donations of visitor books on the cruise and delivered them to various schools as well as the National Library. In second place was Josette Croes, Trade Relations Supervisor. Josette came third in the 2020 Standing Ovation Awards and in 2022 her colleagues gave her many High-Fives again and so she reached the top three once again.
Josette received High-Fives for her efforts and contributions to assisting colleagues in various departments whenever they need any kind of assistance, as well as for her work in the A.T.A. Social Committee. In first place with the most points was Marisol Sanchez Maldonado, PR & Corporate Communications Specialist. Marisol has received High-Fives from her colleagues for various initiatives, including the podcast series, ¢A.T.A. Talks About launched in 2022, community initiatives and peer engagement.
The management of A.T.A. is extremely grateful for the efforts and work of each member of the team and congratulates once again the winners of the Standing Ovation Awards 2022. It should also be noted that this is the year when the total number of High-Fives was highest, so more colleagues are using this system to give High-Fives to colleagues.
