The Minister of Tourism and Public Health Mr. Dangui Oduber is very pleased with the latest figures from the Aruba Airport Authority (AAA). The AAA recently released its figures for the month of August. Reports show that passenger traffic experienced a growth of 113% percent from August 2022 to August 2023, this is equivalent to 107 thousand additional passengers.

AAA reports showed a 104% recovery in passenger traffic compared to 2019. This is certainly something impressive according to the minister. Our biggest market is still the US market which is 73% percent. Most of the traffic is coming from North and South America. Figures indicate that there is a strong demand for Aruba as a destination.
