A.T.A.: Over 300 couples renewed their marriage during “Aruba I Do”

On Sunday afternoon in an atmosphere of love, over 300 couples renewed their commitment to each other during the fifth edition of the Aruba I Do, presented by the Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.). This ” Renewal Ceremony” is the largest in the Caribbean and has brought couples from all over the world together on our prestigious Eagle Beach, the number 1 beach in the Caribbean, to celebrate their union during a romantic afternoon.

This year’s “Vow Renewal Ceremony” broke the record in registered couples. It was attended by couples from the United States, Colombia, Italy, Chile, Argentina, India, Germany, the Netherlands, Ecuador, Aruba, Peru, Puerto Rico, and more. Among them, we can see that couples have an average of 21 years of marriage and an average of 50 years of age, including the oldest participant who was 83 years old.

As for the generation, the majority of couples present were Generation X, born between 1965 and 1980, followed by Millennials, born between 1981 and 1996.
The event also featured creators and celebrities from the United States, Colombia, Italy, Chile, and Argentina. The group consists of journalists, radio and T.V. hosts, writers, producers, and video directors who together accumulate a total of 4.5 million followers on their social platforms.

It also featured the presence of market presses such as Delish and Freelancer.
Upon arrival, the couple were greeted with a warm welcome, a rose, and a welcome drink, followed by Romantic music, official ceremony, and at the end each couple could take a picture in different colors, before the word Aruba and “ I Do” . The event was broadcast live via Facebook and Instagram, allowing couples to share this special moment with family and friends who could not be physically present during the ceremony.

The first edition of Aruba “I Do “ took place in 2017 and has continued to grow with each edition. After the After a short hiatus due to the pandemic, the 2022 “Vow Renewal Ceremony” continued and the reception was great once again for couples. This is certainly thanks to the continuous efforts of A.T.A. to position Aruba as a destination for romance, be it for marriage, renewal of vows or for honeymoon.

Looking at the record enthusiasm for this year’s ceremony, it can be said that Aruba and I Do show their. It is an important part of A.T.A.’s public relations (PR) strategy. This can be seen in the couples who return year after year to participate in this ceremony, thus reaffirming their connection to Aruba.
