Ahata2

A.T.A along with several other stakeholders, key tourism partners and other markets in tourism got together for a conference at the Hyatt Hotel where they negotiated in connection with the International Tourism Day that is in the month of September.

A.T.A is glad to be working and negotiating the plans for the rest of 2023 and the negotiations taken for 2024, A.T.A foresees a wide connection between them and their partners and large markets that currently consist of North America and Latin America and Europe where they hope to enlarge the ties between them and Latin America in order to expand the diversification between our markets.

A.T.A and different members of the office along with foreign guests are planning a rest of the month full of goals to promote Aruba and the quality we can bring forward as a country. Thus, they will be commemorating the International Tourism Day with a conference the following week and with a series of activities.

Tourism and A.T.A should work together in 4 areas, and there is a vision to maintain these 4 pillars strongly so that there can be a positive development. These four pillars are: Mointoria, protect our environment, safeguard our tourism and finally increase the economic contribution of our country.

These four goals must work together for Aruba tourism to continue to grow to provide it as the largest economic pillar of Aruba.

 Latin America:

Representatives from Latin America told how excited they are to be part of the first global conference of all tourism markets. Latin America has over 25 operators from different Latin American countries with the aim of diversifying the tourist area of Aruba, Aruba and Latin American stop by their connection as a strategy and push to sell and increase tourist sales.

The connection with Latin Americans is already growing and it is expected to  continue to grow and become stronger, there are growths of 8% to 10% from 2022 to 2023. This connection is growing positively and it is expected that these connections will be of benefit to Aruba and Latin America.

Latin America also together with Ministers Dangui Oduber think that our tourism is one of quality and sees it in the figures that are being generated every year.

Wingo Colombia:

They came to represent Colombia and various cares that fall under their operations. Colombia is glad to have been part of this conference, as they bring economic and good quality trips to our island. Wingo is overjoyed with the figures generated in the last 6 months that started with trips between Cali and Aruba. Wingo also looks at the possibility of an increased number of trips.

The flexibility of Wingo and how open they are to be able to build up our trips. Through connections with holdings that give them the backing we can foresee Wingo making trips to Aruba for longer.
