The members of the Kiwanis Club of Aruba (KCA) are druks preparing for the 2023 Charity Gala with the theme “a Bridgerton Ball” that takes place on Friday, November 3 at the Renaissance Convention Center. Musicians confirmed once again are the most popular bands of Aruba: Buleria, ‘N Fuzion and Tsunami, the ballroom will be completely transformed into the Regency Period, between 1813-1827 in which the hit Netflix Bridgerton is inspired.
Guests can enjoy a buffet, open bar for beer, spirits, craft beer and cocktails. This holiday is the KCA’s biggest opportunity to raise funds, in order to support various foundations and projects that annually encompass the KCA, such as the unamos la mano para criar a nuestros niños Foundation, Fundación para nuestros niños, Back to School, Kiwanis One day, Navidad, Traffic Awareness Campaign, Clint Whitfield Outstanding Students Award, Smile Makers the Panda Book and more.
Jane Wever-Vermaas, Chair of the KCA Fundraising Committee: “Years ago our gala was a resounding and necessary success, so it could be seen that Aruba missed our party and wanted to contribute to our cause: helping children in need in Aruba. This gala is the perfect opportunity for the Huelva community to enjoy an extremely elegant gala, dressed with themes or in galas attire, dancing to the rhythm of our best bands, with a tremendous buffet and premium quality drink, meanwhile the net proceeds from each ticket sold will go directly to projects and foundations supported by KCA. The Community can count on the funds generated being hosted where it is prudent and where it is necessary, because all projects and donations always pass an extensive screen of the club.”, Closing Jane.
