Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) concluded the
month of December by recognizing three visitors as Bonaire Ambassadors. Among them
is David Morgan from the United States, who received a certificate for 42 years of visiting
Bonaire.
David is no stranger to Bonaire. He is a diving instructor who, in the past, has contributed
to Bonaire’s underwater world alongside Mr. Morey Ruza and the late Captain Don
Stewart. David was honored as an ambassador in the Platinum category.
Cees and Marleen van Dam from the Netherlands were surprised by their son, who
nominated them for this recognition because they have been visiting Bonaire for 22
years. On this occasion, they received a gold pin.
Notably, in 2024, the TCB recognized 81 visitors as Bonaire Ambassadors. Many of these
individuals are long-time, frequent visitors to the island.
Helen Mercera-Thode conducted the recognition ceremony and presented the
certificates and corresponding pins to the ambassadors.
