Saturday night, after a six-year absence, another edition of the Flip Flop Festival took
place, presented by Chill Beer and Elite Empire Entertainment. From early on,
thousands of people gathered at Harbor Arena to enjoy a festival with various musical
performances, both local and international. We must mention that there were also
visitors from abroad who either traveled specifically for this event or were already in
Aruba.
After learning that the event had to be moved from Bushiri Beach to Harbor Arena, the
Elite Productions team, along with all logistical partners, worked around the clock to
prepare the venue. These combined efforts ensured that the public enjoyed a fully
prepared Harbor Arena, experiencing the Flip Flop Festival. From the mega stage to the
Caribang DJs tent, the food court, and various bars, the public got their money's worth
for their entrance tickets.
Musically, every fan, regardless of their preferred genre or specific band/DJ, enjoyed the
entire night. Speaking with various attendees, it can be summarized that the
performances by KES The Band stood out. KES took the stage with their signature
energy, performing all their past hits and some new songs, which the audience also
enjoyed. Naturally, other acts like Mical Teja and Angel Dior, who were on the island for
the first time, also delighted the audience satisfactorily. Alex Sensation, along with Brazil
21, also set the atmosphere. Our local bands certainly did not disappoint the crowd. A
big congratulations to Tsunami, Mystical Connection, and Ziggi Recado & The
Nayamari, who put on a spectacular show for every fan.
During the Flip Flop Festival, the art of DJing is also very important, and for this reason,
our local and international DJs kept the public dancing from 5 PM until the early morning
hours. This year, a separate tent was introduced where the music was different from the
main stage. Here, the Dutch organization Caribang successfully combined different
local and international DJs. This area was very well-received, as people were dancing
all night long. Master of ceremonies Tarrick Ras, Big Reckless, MC Samil, and Mark
Benson also knew how to hype up the crowd, keeping the energy high and the
excitement palpable throughout the entire event.
Chill Beer, as the main partner, along with other brands like Sprite and Bacardi, were
also highly visible during the festival with features like 'Happy Hours', 'Mojito Bar by
Bacardi', and a '360 Photo Booth' by Sprite.
Elite Empire Entertainment and Chill Beer wish to thank each of the thousands of
