Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) participated in Travmedia’s International Media Marketplace 2024 (IMM) on January 25th in New York City. IMM is the leading global networking event connecting the travel industry with top journalists, editors, influencers, and broadcasters. In collaboration with Diamond PR (Bonaire’s PR firm), TCB participated in this year’s event.

Bonaire’s focus was on personalizing the Bonaire experience, showcasing what’s new for 2024, and highlighting the island’s cultural and historical wonders. TCB successfully had over 20 individual appointments with renowned contributors from outlets such as USA Today 10Best, Lonely Planet, Travel + Leisure, BBC Travel, Forbes, and more. Each media partner received a specially crafted Bonaire postcard, personally handwritten by a Bonaire Friend such as Izaïn Mercera from Cultural Park Mangazina di Rei, Elton ‘Taty’ Frans from The Frans Paradise, Elizabeth Kelkboom from Henk Transport and Tours, Shaquil Boezem from Bonaire Landsailing Adventures, and Elise Arrindell-Weerstand from Sweeti Bakery and Blue Lagun Café Bonaire to name a few.

TCB and its on-island partners are also gearing up to join the Travel & Adventure Show in New York this weekend. Six partners will showcase the island at the trade show in the Bonaire booth. The show is scheduled at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on January 27-28, 2024.
