In the Parliament of Aruba there is a proposed law to make same-sex marriage legal. Raad van Advies has advised Parliament to legalise same-sex marriage. The High Court in the Netherlands on November 10 will begin to evaluate the decision of the Court of Appeal that instructed the government of Aruba to legalize same-sex marriage. On the other hand, Aruba's religious leaders started a signature action against it in December 2022.
