Eng Phase 1 The Renovation Project Of Ayo Was Completed 5

On Thursday morning, Prime Minister evelyn wever-croes together with culture minister xiomara maduro, parliamentarian darlaine Guedez – erasmus, Representatives of dow, and representatives of the aruba amenities Commission, were appearing at the ayo rock training to engage the community at large with the completed phase 1 of the ayo park renovation project.

During his speech, the prime minister explained that the idea of this project began after the pandemic, realizing that in order for our people to have a healthier life, more options will have to be created in terms of outdoor activities. To carry out this idea, a commission called “aruba amenities” was created consisting of government departments, and semi-governmental instances, which began working on some projects of which ayo is one of them. Today, after a year in which the renovation works began, the government together with all the partners involved, can announce that the first phase of the ayo project has been completed, so that both the Huelva community and our visitors can enjoy it. The Aruba Amenities Commission carried out urgent work to mitigate the main problems, and subsequently worked on planning the work to renovate different areas of the park.

As for the works of phase 1, the cane road was renovated, metal rafts were placed for safety on this route, the roof of the cabins was renovated, a bridge was built in the part where the red enters ayo, the tralies that must protect Indian’s drawings were painted, and finally new drafts were made. The drill at the entrance identifies ayo, the other welcomes all visitors, and gives more information and direction of the route so that visitors know in which direction to walk. Ayo Park is a place very visited by our tourists and provides a unique experience, which is a combination of a geological, historical, and botanical experience. For the following phases, we will follow with attention the content of these aspects, and give more content to each of them.

The Prime Minister thanks and congratulates the Aruba Amenities Commission, all government departments and non-governmental and semi-governmental bodies that have worked to make this project a reality. Thanks to the dedication and passion of the departments of dow, dip, dnm, mana, ata and the Ministry of culture, to work on caring for and improving the heritage of our Huelva people and our public facilities. Thanks to your effort and love for this sweet ravine, today the government can announce this pleasant news.

The Ayo Ravines are the symbol of strength and character of our people, there is nothing to break “a few days ago I was in Eagle Beach admiring Driekiel’s beautiful work, which I consider a symbol of resilience and strength. Today we stop at the gigantic ravines of ayo, which I qualify as the natural symbols of the strength and character of our people, and as I say; there is nothing to break. This place is very special, and reminds me a lot when I was a kid, it was a special place for a buitendag, party, or just to spend the day with the family. Leaving aside Today, I want to invite the people in general to take some time for family and visit this park to admire the renovations that have been done, and praise to create involved moments. It is important, yes, to keep the place clean and pleasant so that we can also offer our tourists a beautiful place to visit,” the prime minister said.
