Minister of Education and Sports Endy Croes in August had several important meetings and one of them was certainly with Ms. Jo Anne Croes Student Athlete Advisor of EducationUSA along with Ms. Indira Burke was born in the United States. One of the agenda items was, among others, HENA Expo.

Since then, Minister Endy Croes along with Washington Plenipotentiary Minister Joseline Croes have been signing several exciting MoUs with colleges and universities in both Canada and the US and the idea of organizing an expo for, among other things, these schools to get in touch with students interested in continuing their studies in North America.
For this reason, the US Consulate also found it important and supportive to organize an expo this year to provide much more information to our students. So keep stimulating and inspiring our students about the opportunities that North America offers. Ms. Jo Anne Croes and Mrs. Indira Burke is part of the organizing team and gave a comprehensive presentation on how far they are with this in the preparatory phase. The official date for this will be October 28. So to all the students, stay tuned for more information.
MoU with Education USA was touched upon:
The MoU between US Consul EducationUSA and Aruba was agreed in the draft. A few weeks ago I met via Zoom with the US Consul General stationed in Curaçao Mrs. Margy Bond and Kristine Lundberg Consul for Political, Economic and Public Affairs on the same topic. So it was possible to have a great concept of the final MoU between Aruba and the US. One of the key points is that Aruba will need to hire a full-time employee for this project. Another new and important aspect of this MoU is the collaboration between Educampus and EduactionUSA. This is to facilitate and accelerate the payment of the operation as Curaçao has created a construction with a foundation and here in Aruba with Educampus. The meeting also planned the Relaunch & MoU signing which probably took place recently.
We can look back on the fruitful meetings in August, where the signing of the MoU between Aruba and the US Consulate was successfully completed on September 14. This MoU has gone through the standard process and passed through DBB and the Netherlands for review. The next project is the HENA Expo, where through a QR code all information will be provided. Students, keep your eyes open! Minister Endy Croes believes strongly in collaboration and this is a way of working in collaboration. 21st century competitions are 4Cs: Communication- Collaboration- Critical thinking problem solving and Creativity is the way to go!
